Celebrate Mother’s Day Weekend at the Crozet Spring Arts and Crafts Festival

April 21, 2015

Spend a glorious day in Historic Crozet, and bring mom along too!

Wondering what to do after Mom finishes her breakfast in bed? Take her out to the Crozet Spring Arts and Crafts Festival! With over 120 Artists and Artisans showing and selling their original handcrafted creations, there will be plenty of shopping, browsing, and meeting talented and interesting creative people. Virginia wine and beer will be served, and a great selection of food will be available, so plan to spend the day (bonus: much less planning for you!).

Relax and enjoy live music from Roosevelt Dime, Red and the Romantics, The Hook and Bullet, and more, and keep the kids entertained in a special Kids Area with facepainting, arts activities, and entertainment. Adult admission is only $6 and kids are free, making this a very affordable destination. In addition, sign up for the free raffle and have a chance to win one of the many incredible items donated by Exhibiting Artists and Festival Sponsors!

The Festival takes place in Claudius Crozet Park, a community owned and operated non-profit park in historic Crozet, set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Proceeds from the Festival benefit the Park, helping to maintain facilities and keep the Park open and available for community use. With several playing fields, playgrounds, and more, CCP is enjoyed by families year-round. Grab a coffee at the Park Café at the Fesival and learn about all the programs and special events at the Park.

The Crozet Spring Arts and Crafts Festival will take place Mother’s Day weekend, May 9 & 10. Hours are Saturday 10-5:30 and Sunday 10-5. Adult admission is $6, kids under 12 are free and parking is free. Learn more and preview the participating Artist Exhibitors online at www.crozetfestival.com.
